Madurai Rk University College, Madurai – 2 is a Constituent Unit of Madurai Rk University. The college was founded on the twenty-fifth year of the Madurai Rk University as a “Model College” with 2(f) and 12(b) status of the University Grant Commission in the year 1994. This College is a secular Institution. The purpose of the college is to impart liberal education of secular character to students of all strata. This co-educational institution strives to develop the intellectual powers of the students and to locate, identify to be responsible and useful citizens.

At present the college offers 13 Undergraduate Courses, 9 Postgraduate courses and one Certificate Course covering Arts, science and Business Administration Streams.The college functions in two sprawling campuses.Now the college has an enrollment of about 4250 students and has a team of highly committed Teaching and Administrative Staff.
